These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, forming the basis of the contractual relationship between you, the client and Glitzy Safaris Ltd. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, forming the basis of the contractual relationship between you, the client and Glitzy Safaris Ltd. By making a booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined here, which detail essential aspects such as payment policies, cancellations, responsibilities, liability etc... Please review these terms thoroughly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey with us.
Terms & Conditions for Glitzy Safaris Ltd.
a)Â To inquire online, simply complete our short booking form, and you'll be connected with one of our safari experts who will help you select the best options for your adventure. After you make your selection, we will check availability and provide an invoice, which requires a 30% deposit of the total trip or service cost. For itineraries including flights, full payment for airline tickets is required upfront. Once the deposit is received, we will reserve your chosen itinerary, subject to availability. Your booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation invoice.
b)Â The remaining balance must be paid at least 4 weeks before departure. For bookings made less than 4 weeks before the tour date, full payment is required upon confirmation of availability. Once the full payment is received, we will provide additional information, such as a detailed itinerary, packing list, travel tips, etc.
Cancellations are only accepted when provided in writing. Our cancellation charges are as follows:
More than 4 weeks before departure: deposit forfeited.
4 to 3 weeks before departure: 50% of total cost.
3 to 2 weeks before departure: 70% of total cost.
Less than 2 weeks or no show: 100% of total cost.
No refund will be provided if you fail to join the safari, arrive late, or leave before completion. However, we encourage early communication in advance (at least 4 weeks before departure if you need to adjust travel dates to see if alternative dates are available.
After your booking has been confirmed, should you wish to make any changes to your itinerary or wish an earlier departure date, we will make every effort to accommodate your requests based on availability. However, there may be extra costs involved to accommodate your request. These costs are in addition to the fee quoted to you for your initial safari. Normal cancellation fees apply if you wish to postpone your departure.
It is a requirement that all guests have comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering, but not limited to, cancellation, medical expenses, evacuation, repatriation, and loss of personal belongings. Glitzy Safaris Ltd. will not be held responsible for any costs or losses arising from a lack of appropriate coverage.
Payments can be made via credit card, bank wire transfers, or cash(for last minute bookings if necessary)
For safety and because space is restricted, baggage in some charter aircraft is restricted to a maximum of 15 kg per person in a soft bag. This includes camera equipment and carry-on baggage. Should guests arrive with excess baggage without prior warning, their baggage could be delayed, as we may have to fly the baggage into camps or lodges at a later stage at considerable extra cost to you. However, should the guests know in advance that the baggage will exceed the limit, we recommend you book an extra seat for the bags on the aircraft, at an additional cost to them.
Safaris involve close encounters with wildlife. While incidents are rare, Glitzy Safaris Ltd. and its staff can not be held liable for any injury or accident. Guests must follow park rules and instructions from the guide at all times.
t is the guest's responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary travel documents, including valid passports and visas. Glitzy Safaris Ltd. will not be liable for any delays, costs, or disruptions due to incomplete documentation.
Tropical disease precautions should be commenced prior to departure. Please consult your doctor for specific advice. If you are a contagious disease carrier or have any health condition, you must let us know when booking your safari.

Glitzy Safaris Ltd. and its representatives will not be liable for loss, damage, injury, or delays resulting from circumstances beyond their control, including weather, strikes, war, or any unforeseen events. We reserve the right to cancel or alter itineraries if necessary.
Changes to itineraries may occur due to weather, seasonal changes, or other factors. Glitzy Safaris Ltd. will endeavor to provide alternatives to maintain the quality of the experience.
No refunds will be given for unused services, accommodations, or excursions. Reasonable alternatives will be sought if any aspect of the itinerary becomes unavailable.
For the driver and the vehicle, we would like to inform clients that the driver will always remind them of park rules and other important things for safety while in the park. The driving hours per day are recommended to be 8, but the guide would advise if more hours will be needed, but no extra payment shall be charged by the company or the driver for the extra hours. This has to be done in accordance with the rules, that is, it should not be after 6:00 p.m.
While every effort is made to maintain quoted prices, surcharges may apply due to factors like airline rate changes or currency fluctuations.
Glitzy Safaris Ltd. is not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from flight schedule disruptions.
If one of our guides is unable to take a safari due to illness, etc., we reserve the right to substitute with another guide.
This agreement is made subject to and shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of Tanzania in which the safari or other tour takes place.
While there is no upper age limit, some camps may have minimum age requirements for children. We can advise on family-friendly options.
