Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Rhino Lodge is a charming and eco-friendly safari lodge located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater rim, making it an ideal accommodation choice for Tanzania safaris. Originally the home of Ngorongoro’s first conservator, the lodge preserves its rustic, low-impact design while blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings. 

The lodge features 24 comfortable ensuite rooms, each with a private verandah overlooking the lush highland forest. Rooms are equipped with wood-burning stoves and hot water bottles to ensure warmth during cooler nights. Guests can unwind in the cozy bar and dining area, warmed by two central fireplaces, while enjoying delicious African-inspired buffet meals. Evenings are often highlighted by traditional Maasai dance performances, adding an authentic cultural touch.
