Taste Safari in Tarangire, Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater

You’ll need to arrange your flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for domestic travel. Upon arrival, a WeGuide Africa Safaris representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. That evening or the following morning, you’ll meet your local guide for a detailed safari briefing. You’ll spend your first night at a peaceful accommodation, which is the perfect place to relax before your African adventure begins. This marks the start of your unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it. This “river of warthogs” serves as the only water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season.

In some areas, the vegetation is quite dense, featuring elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is renowned for its elephant families, which can often be seen gathering by the river. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by various predators, including lions and leopards.

Tarangire National Park is home to the largest population of elephants in Tanzania and boasts more breeding species of birds than any other place on Earth. It is the best location to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from the adorable calves to the impressive bulls.

After enjoying a packed lunch, we will head to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn or a similar location.

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, we will enjoy a morning drive to Ngorongoro. Your accommodation is located just minutes from the Ngorongoro gate.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera, making it one of Africa’s natural wonders. The park is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. It is also home to various bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see a variety of animals in a short period.

Lunch: We will stop for a picnic lunch in the afternoon.
Dinner: Dinner will be served at the lodge.

After breakfast at 7:30 am, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, depending on your next destination.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its legendary tree-climbing lions, which hide among the branches of the trees. Migratory flamingos and numerous colonies of baboons populate the forest and will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

We will arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport around 4:00 pm, but we are flexible depending on your departure time and next destination.
