After breakfast, your Glitzy Safaris guide picks you up and your exclusive private Tanzania safari begins. You travel entirely at your own pace, with the freedom to stop whenever you like, stay as long as you want to watch wildlife, and let the African bush unfold around you. Your private 4×4 safari vehicle is yours exclusively, giving you the freedom, comfort, and flexibility to make every moment of your Tanzania wildlife safari truly your own.

Today, your first real game drive begins in Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations and a fantastic introduction to your safari adventure. Located close to Arusha, the park is famous for its rich birdlife, beautiful landscapes, and unique wildlife, including the striking black-and-white Colobus monkeys.

During your game drive, keep your eyes open for the playful Colobus monkeys and a variety of colorful bird species, including the spectacular Silvery-Cheeked Hornbill. If you are lucky, you may even spot one of the park’s rare albino animals.

Arusha National Park offers much more than wildlife. You’ll discover peaceful lakes, volcanic craters, waterfalls, lush forests, majestic mountains, and beautiful open grassy plains. With its incredible combination of scenery and wildlife, this is a wonderful first Tanzania safari experience with Glitzy Safaris.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular ancient baobab trees. During the dry season, wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, creating incredible opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals. With its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife, Tarangire is a highlight of any Tanzania safari with Glitzy Safaris.

Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right along the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley. The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attract many different animals. You can for example visit the lake that covers 75 percent of the park, pass through a dense rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, and see elephants up close in the woodlands.

Serengeti National Park is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of the Great Migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look!

After breakfast on Day 9, enjoy a relaxed day exploring Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital. Discover the local markets, cultural attractions, craft shops, and vibrant atmosphere, or simply relax at your hotel and enjoy your final day in Tanzania.

On Day 10, after breakfast, enjoy some free time before your Glitzy Safaris team transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international flight home. Take with you unforgettable memories of your Tanzania safari and your time in Tanzania.
